Redline International Film Festival
Event :15/03/2019Date News :18/02/2019

Redline International Film Festival currently accepts short films under 30 minutes in length of any genre and from any country. Founded as a passion project by indie filmmakers, Redline's goal is to shine a light on the films and filmmakers that the mainstream media frequently overlook. As filmmakers ourselves, we have far too often seen quality films being turned away from festivals because they didn't meet the proper mainstream "criteria". We strongly believe that film-making is one of the most profound mediums through which art can be created, and should not have to adhere to conventional ideals in order to be celebrated. Which is why, through our monthly festival, we aim to promote those who create art through the medium of film and continue to push the envelope in artistic creation. Each month, we hold a screening for our hand-selected jury members, made up of industry personnel and film fans, where we showcase some of that months nominated films (generally films nominated for 'Best Fiction Short' and 'Best Documentary Short' are screened, but lineup may vary month to month). After the conclusion of the screening, the jury members vote to decide on the winner for the 'Jury's Choice: Best Short Film' award. These screenings are a jury-member only event, and is not open to the general public. We are a film festival made by filmmakers, for filmmakers. What this means to us is that we ONLY care about quality cinema and nothing else. No hidden agenda. Our only goal is to award the talented filmmakers that can be found all around the world - from all walks of life. That's why we accept submissions from any country, any genre, and any filmmaker. We can't wait to see your submissions!
