The film starts off with the distressed look of the lead character. For simplicity’s sake, let’s call him Mark, a young man in his early twenties. The film is set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world. There are no other humans or animals appearing in the film and minimal amount of life is left on Earth. Mark is driving his rusty old Japanese model Maruti 800 in search of someone, or something. As he is driving, he keeps on looking at the photo in his hands as if hes constantly reassuring himself that he’ll find what he’s looking for. He looks very disturbed and agitated; he might be looking for a loved one or a family member perhaps. On his way he meets a panda who appears to be a photographer, and asks him if he has seen the person in the photo. The panda gives a negative response and Mark resumes his search. On his way he meets a pig and a gorilla as well. He poses the same question he asked the panda and receives a similar response. Finally, after hours and hours of searching mark decides to give upon his search and goes back home. In his home we see a wall covered with photos and newspaper reports of endangered and extinct animals. Mark takes one last look at the photo in his hand, which is then revealed to be a picture of a dodo. He crumbles up the photo and throws it to the dust bin. The next morning Mark picks up the photo of a Bengal tiger from his wall and goes on to search for it. Whether he’s successful in his pursuance is completely up to you, the viewer.Read More
